Bleepers That Never Sleep!
We're delighted to announce that from December 1st 2021 Bleeper bikes will be available to hire 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Lots of you have been asking for extended Bleeper operating hours, especially people who work irregular hours and late nights.
We have taken your feedback on board so, from Wednesday 1st December, Bleeper bikes will be available to hire 24/7. This makes Bleeper the first 24-hour public bike rental in Dublin.
There will be an initial trial period of a few months, after which the new operating hours will be reviewed and we'll make a decision on whether to make the changes permanent or not.
New Pricing Structure
In addition to our new operating hours, we are also introducing a new pricing structure for Pay-As-You-Go customers and Monthly Members.
From the 1st of December, users will be charged per minute instead of per hour.
The new Pay-As-You-Go hire fee will be €0.02 per minute.
There will also be a new €1 Unlock Fee charged at the beginning of each hire period, so you will pay €1 + €0.02/minute for using a Bleeper.
The 'Pit Stop' feature will be charged at €0.01 per minute.
The Monthly Membership fee will be increasing to €17.50 from the 1st of December. This fee will still entitle Monthly Members to 4 x 1-hour Bleeper rides per day.
This new pricing structure reflects standard practice internationally and will make it easier for Bleeper to introduce a greater variety of vehicles to our shared fleet in the near future.
